3 Wounded In Port Richmond Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that left three people wounded in the city’s Port Richmond section Wednesday.

Authorities say shots rang out just before 4 p.m. in the 2900 block of Weikel Street.

A woman, police say, was shot in the head. She was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical but stable condition. A 19 year old male was shot once in the leg and third victim was also wounded.

Police say there was a disturbance involving a group of males prior to the shooting. At least three people were taken into custody.
